Tell us what you’re working on.
My works spans borders – I split my time between projects for European and American clients and partners. I’m building a Fire Commander application for iOS for a client/partner in Hayward, California. RescuePhone is a project for a Dutch client that will work across iOS, Android and WinPhone7. ConnectUs for iOS is an application I developed in 36 hours during the AppsFoundry Contest in Luxembourg. I’m developing an iOS app called Keurslager that will be used by 500 butchers in the Netherlands. Echte Bakker for iOS and Android will be used by 200-300 bakeries. I’m working on a6.nl, a car-sales application for iOS and Android. Lastly, I’ve worked with DotComello, Siteworkers, and Netsupport on several projects.
How did you get started and why do you love to code?
I’m a developer who loves the iPhone and all technical stuff. Apple offered me the SDK and all the great tools to learn and develop. With the release of Android and WinPhone7, I was excited to explore and refine my own work.
Where do you see your industry going in 10 years?
I have seen the market grow very fast, and I’m sure that mobile devices will replace many existing devices in the future. I see mobile and social media becoming one entity, with more websites becoming mobile-enabled.
